Elixir — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 August 2026 · App: Elixir (com.sercoj.elixir) · Developer: Serghei Cojocaru
Elixir is a cocktail recipe application. This policy explains what information the app
handles, why, and the choices you have. Elixir is intended for users of legal drinking age
in their country and is not directed at children.
Information the app collects
- Anonymous account identifier. On first launch the app creates an anonymous
Firebase Authentication account so your data can sync. No name or email is required.
- Optional Google account. If you choose “Sign in with Google”, your Google
display name, email address, and profile photo are linked to your account so your data
survives reinstalls and device changes.
- Your in-app activity. Favorites, your spirit cabinet, app settings
(language, measurement units), a count of drinks you marked as mixed, and any ratings or
written reviews you post. Reviews are public and are shown together with your
display name.
- Usage and diagnostics. Google Analytics for Firebase collects app-interaction
events and device information; Firebase Crashlytics collects crash and error reports.
- Advertising data. The app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may process your
device advertising ID and related signals to serve and measure ads. Where required (for
example in the EEA/UK), ads are shown only in accordance with the choices you make in the
consent dialog, and you can revisit those choices anytime via
Profile → Settings → Privacy options.
What the app does not do
- No selling of your personal information.
- No access to your contacts, photos, files, precise location, camera, or microphone.
- No collection of names, emails, or payment details unless you explicitly link a Google account.
How information is used
Data is used solely to operate the app: syncing your library across sessions and devices,
showing community ratings and reviews, remembering your preferences, diagnosing crashes,
measuring aggregate usage, and funding the app through advertising.
Where data is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, region europe-west1) and processed by
Google LLC under the Firebase Data
Processing and Security Terms. Ad serving is governed by
Google's advertising policies.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your own reviews in the app at any
time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email
cojocaru.serghei@gmail.com
from the Google account you linked (or include your in-app display name for anonymous accounts).
Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Uninstalling the app without a request leaves an
anonymous account that cannot be re-associated with you.
Your rights (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR applies you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the
processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Contact the address above to exercise
these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
